Smell The Political Coffee...
Fair and balanced commentary on politics and current events. While exposing those who love to report it wrong and those who hold the truth to their hearts.
If Ms. Chapman was unattractive, I wonder if she would be getting all of this attention. If she were fat and ugly, I doubt pictures of her would be seen. The demented minds of the media. Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
My suggestion, don't believe the hype. Believe what you know and feel what you see. In others words, who you are won't cut it. Put some action behind it. You just can't arrive and think that is good enough. We need and want more...you are the President.
Thanks for sharing. There is always another side to these made for news sensational stories. Oftentimes judgement is made on the sensation and not the facts. Either way, what a sad story. Was the young who was shot black? If so, black on black violence. Who cares so it would seem. Just recently in NYC a black man was freed after serving some time for shooting a white youth who walked on his property and attempted to do him harm. http://newsfeedresearcher.com/data/articles_n52/white-paterson-cicciaro.html
If African Americans don't vote for Braun, it's probably because they see something unfavorable with her character that the media is choosing to overlook. Rahm would be the lessor of an evil should they vote for him
Rahm's self important ways is not surprising. Rahm is an opportunist. I feel for the folks in Chicago.
As for former President Bill Clinton feeling he was dissed by this White House, well maybe so, but then too, Clinton has a huge ego and Obama would never give the Clintons the respect they deserve. Why should he and prove the obvious he needs the Clintons (when the media said during the election he wouldn't need them). Let's face it, Clinton single handedly saved President Obama with the tax issue. It was Clinton who took the platform and explained to the world why Obama going back on his promised was perhaps the best thing. Remember Obama promised during the election that he would end Bush's tax breaks.
What did we expect from a media made candidate? That beings said the President must succeed, for we all succeed when he succeeds. Question is how does he succeed? He can start by dumping all the wannabes working around him who are certainly angling to write a book or land a fat job in corporate America for just working in this administration.
OMG!!!!!!! Harming any animal or human is WRONG!!!! But to keep dragging this story on and on because Vick has manage to rehabilitate himself is also WRONG!!!! MOVE ON!!!!!!!! Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
You got to love he mind of he American people and news journos (who ever else participated in this poll). Our President with the lowest approval rating of any President at this time in his term, has gone from being out of touch with Americans, fibbing and flip flopping on his campaign issues to being the most admired. What's on deck for 2012? Saviour? Only in America.
Let's put this whole Sarah Palin thing to bed. Headline she stepped down as governor of Alaska because she couldn't make the cut and decided to be a sideshow making money. Put that in every headline. She stepped down. She is a quitter. What more do we need to know?
If this had been a picture of the Holy Koran with ants would the protestors demand for censorship to stop? No! They would ask that the picture be removed and not on display. But since this involves a Christian symbol it's ok. Geez!
Such a beautiful story. My family was touched by cancer. My sister LaVerne Denise Harper (a non-smoker) lost her 7 year battle with stage four lung cancer on the morning of her 44th birthday. She was a fighter to the end.
God bless all those have it or are caring for someone with the disease. Be strong and live each day to its fullest.
Bohner and now McConnell showing the water works. When then Senator Hillary Clinton, who was running for president, cried during the 2008 primaries the media ripped her a new one. They said she was fake or couldn't handle the job. Double standards and excuses. We should be ashamed of ourselves.
I find it interesting that it seems individuals of every faith can declare their religious belief and say it proudly except for Christians. I can recall growing up as a child you wouldn't dare your religion if you weren't Christian. What happened? Religious tolerance and respect. Now that has gone out the window. If you are a Christian keep it to yourself. However, if you are Hindu, Buddhist and absolutely Muslim say it loud and clear. What is happening in our society? We suppress some to raise another?
The US can't have it both ways. If the information released by Assange and printed by news outlet is a threat to US security then Assange is a terrorist and news outlet releasing the information knowing of any serious breeches to our security is an accomplice. There is no black and white here.
As of lately, our countrymen have been taken our freedoms for granted and calling out for it every when ever it suits us. We want to silence the preacher threatening to burn the Holy Koran yet find it ok to burn the American flag. We are ok with a Mosque being built right next door to ground zero and say it isn't in the area (but it is); then say it isn't ok to erect a bible on a court house lawn. What gives?
If the liberal media stopped trying to label Allen West a looney like Michele Bachmann (she is looney) and understand what he is saying all will see he is making a point.
Pfc Bradley Manning is not a hero. He is a treasonous traitor of the United States of America! He is not a defender of the constitution. Any one hailing Manning as a hero isn't a defender of the Constitution, but rather a defender of hypocrisy and all things evil. They should in fact consider themselves Anti-American and should leave the country.
What has happened to our country since the 60's is unconscionable. Many have taken the concept of freedom and equality to the lowest levels. If the founders of the Constitution were around today, they would be sadden at what this country calls rights and freedoms under the constitution.
Make no mistake, since its creation the Constitution has stood the test of time with many interpretations through amendments and court challenges. These ammendments and court challenges were needed as it cleared the way for basic rights that were just plain common sense. That being said, the direction our society is now moving under a ruse of freedom is sad and dangerous. They say its for right but it seems the abuse and misuse of freedom.
If Pfc Bradley Manning and his co conspirator Julian Assange are to be considered hero's then other spies of the US should be given the same privilege.
Well they said it would never happen, but on Friday, Dec. 10, 2010 in happened. Former President Bill Clinton took center stage to show now President Barack Obama how it is done.
So all the hoopla about Bill Clinton and his wife being racist and playing the race card in 2008 was a bunch of BULLSHIT put out there by the liberal media and a bunch of African Americans who would cut off their nose to save their face.
Here is more on the story: http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE6B94N420101210
Funny how time changes things. A few years ago, then Senator Barack Obama, who was running for President, said he didn't need former President Bill Clinton or his wife Hillary Clinton. The liberal media said the same. Some years later now President Barack Obama has former President Bill Clinton out front selling his deal with the Republicans. Oh by the way, Hillary Clinton has been Secretary of State for the last two years in the Obama Administration.
Surely he, President Obama, would look at the title and laugh. That's if he even looks. Well, I have looked and have laughed and have come to the conclusion that he is naive.
Wake the hell up man and man up!
I am reminded of an episode of the popular television series in the late '90's Murphy Brown played by Candice Bergen. Julius Carry, an African American actor, was cast to play Mitchell Baldwin, the "hot" new replacement for former network boss Eugene Kinsella (Alan Oppenheimer). The staff of "FYI" is a bit put off by the big changes planned by Baldwin, but Murphy (Candice Bergen) seems determined to take whatever comes--and to ingratiate herself to her new employer. The question: Does Murphy genuinely respect Baldwin's ideas and opinions, or is she simply oversensitive because he happens to be African American? After Baldwin changes were made, he tells Brown that he started implementing the necessary change immediately because he knew it would only be a matter of time before she and the others start resisting.
Rule 101 in the black man's handbook: When handed the controls quickly survey the playing field and implement change. Use what you have to get your agenda to across. The old conquer and defeat.
Actually, this happens to be Rule 101 in any odd man out handbook. Didn't President Obama get a copy? So to say his critics are only attacking him because of his policies and not his race further shows how naive this President is. Look at the facts you stave off the collapse of the financial industry, you got health care reform and you changed the way creditors report credit _ just a few things but major things that all will benefit from. Yet your critics speak out against you, have rallies with images of you in minstrel attire. Even your own party seem to have it in for you.
Wake up Mr. President! You are the leader of our party not the headline grabbing Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. These two have been busy dictating your Presidency from day one. Early this year Reid somewhat expressed his views on President Obama. "light skinned" and had "no negro dialect unless he wanted to have one." Hello Mr. President with Dems like this who needs enemies? (http://articles.cnn.com/2010-01-09/politics/obama.reid_1_john-heilemann-african-american-voters-senator-reid?_s=PM:POLITICS)
I predict, if they President fails it will be at the hands of his own party.
Wake up call. The Republicans aren't President Obama's problem. His problem is his own party the DemoRats.
From day one they have been posturing and pontificating on what they can and should do. They stumbled the President's health care overhaul and bitched and moan about Wall Street's bailout. The Democrats had complete controlled of the Senate and House and what did they do squander every opportunity. The Midterm election blood bath can be placed at President Obama's feet but Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid should also take responsibility. Those to power hungry Dems have held both houses in a bottleneck ever since this President came to power.
If one didn't know any better, it would appear the Dems never saw this President as being able to handle Washington. They have been his voice and have done a horrible job at it. He is their puppet and they the puppeteer. Wake up Mr. President your party will cost you the 2012 election.
Now the White House is suggesting that most Americans wanted the Bush tax cut for the rich to be extended. This is after the President spent the last few months on the road saying he would end the tax break for the rich. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/social/robjh1/white-house-privately-pus_n_793732_70061367.html
What???? Are we sure this White House isn't smoking marijuana? What the devil is going on here? Do the Democrats support him? Hell now they are already starting rumors that the President should be challenged in 2012. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton stay put. Don't believe this lie. Allow this very public love affair fall apart for trust me all will be forgiven soon and the affair will continue.
What choice did President Obama have but to flip flop on the tax break for the rich?
His campaign promise to "let Bush tax breaks for the rich expire" is one more promise he has broken. Remember he also said he would have the troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan as soon as he took office and he would work with Republicans. The list goes on.
Give the man a break. Did we really expect something more from him? And now his fellow Democrats are mad. Well, did they try to help the President with his agenda when they controlled both houses, prior to the mid-term election blood bath? No.
