Libya Protests: Obama Says Muammar Gaddafi Must 'Leave Now'

I really wish we would let other countries take the lead on telling Gaddafi to step down. We don't want to be viewed as dictating. Furthermore, when he steps down and the country needs money out goes US dollars and American jobs to help. Dollars and jobs that could and should be used to save our own country from disaster and money for healthcare. Why must we always take the lead? No one respects us for it.

As for the jobs, if we stop allowing the Unions from dictating (collective bargaining my foot) what a person should and shouldn't make, and allow perhaps the department of labor or the industry to set the limits companies won't be so quick to leave our soil. And while we are at it stop making think they can get rich on simple jobs if they don't save, and take away tax breaks from countries moving jobs overseas. Tall order!

Surviving Unemployment: How to Keep Your Head After Losing Your Job

Great advice. Loosing your job isn't the end of the world. Oftentimes, it can be the beginning of new opportunities. So many people get stuck in dead end jobs wanting to leave but are afraid. Loosing the job could be just the push you to get a better job. Each time I have lost my jobs in the past I have moved on to better things. New ideas and what not (i.e. blogging).

Don't be fooled; yes the onset of loosing a job is scary. The fear of the unknown always is, especially if the mortgage is due and you have a family, but never fear. Think positive and make it happen. Even in the worst economy you can reinvent yourself and get or create a job.

Here is an article I wrote some years ago on job lost. You know sometimes the job just isn't in to you.

Female Foreign Correspondents' Code Of Silence, Finally Broken

This was a brutal incident. As in war, men women and children die and are killed. The same is true of those held captive. Therefore, the incident of brutality be it man or woman and the degree does not surprise me.

I am shocked, however, at the courageousness of this journalist to put herself in danger. I think safety should be paramount no matter who is covering the story. Sex is always used as a weapon when it involves women (and a few men). I am shocked this took place amongst people who consider themselves very religious (people love to hide behind religious).

That being said, if we have women in other jobs normally viewed for men why keep them from these jobs where getting the story might be dangerous.

Cassy Herkelman Loses: Female High School Wrestler Falls In Quarterfinals

Girls and Boys wrestling each other was viewed as make out sessions by some (don't go off on the deep end with this loose interpretation) then becoming date rape. Now for school purposes we want to allow it. NO WAY!! If a female wants to wrestle, she should wrestle another female. If there are none to wrestle then she doesn't wrestle. This whole thing about equality in sports and blah blah blah blah is just that blah blah blah blah. This country has got to get a hold of itself. There are certain things (rather we like it or not) that shouldn't and can't be. Cops Are Missing the Bad Guys While Profiling the Black Guys

Great articles, but at the same time blacks must start taking responsibility for our own actions. While some are victims of circumstance, we must not create negative circumstances that will keep us down. Look at the high school drop out rates. There was a time an education was hard for us to obtain and now it is here and what do we do? We refuse to cease the moment in favor of acting out in class, truancy, teenage pregnancy, dropping out of school and the list goes on.

Now some will read this and say what about whites and blah blah blah and my response...what about them? Blacks are the ones facing a huge hurdle in life as demonstrated in this article. I would suggest we stop blaming and start changing.

Michele Bachmann On Obama Birther Conspiracies: 'That Isn't For Me To State'

This is ridiculous!!!!!! Why do we need Bachmann or Boehner to tell us what the President is or is not? If the liberal media feels that just about everything coming from the right is a lie why should or would anyone believe if they say the President is a Christian born in the US?

This is so over the top! Liberal media would have us to believe that the public shouldn't believe Republicans when they say they want to help America and create jobs, but then the media wants Republicans to stand up and profess their beliefs on the president's religion and origin of birth. Can't the liberal media just for once and for all do an expos'e on who the President is and be done with it??

Let's be honest, the moment a Republican comes out and says the President is a Christian and was born in the US that soundbyte will be played continuously during the election of 2012. So who is making this a political issue?

Justin Bieber On Health Care: U.S. System 'Evil'

But when they (liberal media) don't get the responses they want from their popular subject matter its off with the subject matter's head. This is so sad.

And what's up with the commentary, "The stance should come as no surprise, as Bieber was raised by a very religious born-again Christian mother, Pattie Mallette, and has not been afraid to share his beliefs with fans."

So being raised by a parent with religious values is wrong? What the heck?
