Smell The Political Coffee...
Fair and balanced commentary on politics and current events. While exposing those who love to report it wrong and those who hold the truth to their hearts.
Does Bachmann and her fellow Tea Party members actually think holding the government hostage will further her chance of becoming president? Don't they realize this isn't about politics? Let's play out a very hypothetical scenario: The US goes into default and come election time Bachmann becomes president (this is hypothetical now) how in the hell does she think she will be able to turn things around when clearly she doesn't understand basic economy? It took years to get to this point and will take level heads and smart thinkers to get us out, of which she doesn't seem to have either.
It is time to get real. Boehner grow some balls and make a stand!
For Pete's sake Scott Brown isn't the only person who can deliver this message. Move on and get someone else. What's the bid deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have he President or VP do it. Get Bill Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Don Lemon...the point is there are other fish in the sea. Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
Throw a rock in a pack of dogs and if nothing is heard no dog was hit. But the moment you hear a bark you know you hit a dog. What is the big deal with revealing your identity? Facebook clearly states your real name MUST be used. Those who have averted the process have already created Facebook fraud and broke the rule. If that is the case, why use Facebook? Even using an alias you are subject to big brother watching. What is the big deal? I would rather save one life then to allow millions to create psuedo names for the purpose of probably (for some) being deviant and not to protect their so called privacy. Please! I am not at all surprised by the "linear view points" expressed to my missive. You all would have to be completely biased in your thoughts if you don't see for half a second if "Scott Brown" who has been moderate in his views and supported the President in some instances would become the poster child for the left if he were to make a video "it gets better." Why can't his actions (which is far better, speak for him)?
This one video would be used by all on the left to say "Brown" actually share views of the left and not of his own party, and it wouldn't stop there it would be used for left campaigns and what not? But that all aside, why is it he must make the video? Why not go after other Republicans as well? There's Rep. Snow or Aaron Schock who would definitely make a splash? You see it's all about politics and you all refuse to see and accept it. Don't get me wrong the message of hope is good, but why pick and choose who delivers the message? How to revoke ones citizenship? The same way we would legally by pass congress and raise the debt ceiling as allowed under the constitution... Please in the prior statement I was being facetious. But then too I answered your questions. Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
Not participating doesn't make him a bad guy. He is a smart man for he knows the moment he steps in the waters his piece would be used in other avenues by the left against the right. Take the politics out of the announcement and maybe he would be inclined to participate. Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
We bailed out Wall Street, helped Haiti, gave money to Egypt, Libya and if mother nature's wrath is visited on another country we would be the first to lend support. Now lawmakers want to play politics with our future. It is time to start revoking citizenship cards. Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
Ok who is not getting the memo on the Hill that this isn't the 70's? You can't go around harassing women or men and thinking you can get away with it. Wake up! If you haven't caged the snake cage it or you will loose your career. Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
What some religious groups fail to realize is God doesn't need them to fight his battles. They _ the religious groups should busy themselves working out their own soul salvation. Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
2011. We have a black president, but McGehee can't have a black valedictorian? And we were led to believe that by electing a black man for president in 2008 the racial wounds of the US were healed. Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
As a public servant, Bachmann needs to make a stand against bullying. She must come out and be clear that it is not acceptable. Saying that it happens in high schools isn't acceptable. Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
We can find money to bailout out Wall Street but we can't pay our bills!
It's time the media stop posturing and start running exposes on those on the Hill (either party) who stand to gain if the US defaults. Who they are and how much money they have now and their gain. Get on media and stop using scare tatics! And while you are at it clearly explain how a default will harm the regular man. FOOT! Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
I still can't see how Uygur was a hot head on MSNBC. I think his ratings were down because he wasn't attracting an audience. Uygur would do good to accept the fact that "That Job Just Wasn't Into Him" and move on. Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
If she were a hot, pouty lipped Russian all would be against DSK. I'm not sure who to believe. The story is so shady. The truth took place the day of the event and we may never know what happened. Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
There is a big difference between reporting the news and providing commentary.
Apparently someone is greasing Sharpton's palms to keep him quiet. Whom ever it is they forgot to grease the palms of Cornell West. That being said, I watched Sharpton guest host Uygur and found him to be awful. Not that I expected better for Uygur wasn't that much better. I always thought Uygur was a fill in, but talk about loyalty. These TV guys feel that their words are gospel and no one else can incorrectly dissect the news as they do. Wake up! Sometimes a job just isn't in to you. Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
The man is definitely a methodical thinker. Just look at the history: birth certificate, Bin Laden, ending funding to Pakistan, DADT, DOMA and now let's see the trick he will pull out of his hat with the debt ceiling. Not knowing what he is thinking or planning drives many crazy, but somehow he manages to pull it together. I don't always agree with him, but he seems to be a formidable opponent. You say heartlessness I say truthfulness. I am not without sympathy for her family and loved ones. I enjoyed her music, but this type of self-destructive behavior and its end results is a lesson (unfortunately) many who are in similar shoes can learn from. A fast track to fame will only lead you to a fast track to nowhere. Learning first to deal with the issues and knowing when to back off and out of stardom to care for ones self is crucial. Look at the many young starletts today who have gotten so much in a small portion of time and can't handle. What happens? They turn to drugs or alcohol and develop dependencies. Heck not only the young, but the old. Fame is addictive for some and when you don't have it you will sometimes lean or look for something else.
So while I would have hoped Ms. Winehouse could have been saved, but perhaps other see what happened to her and straighten up. Allow this to be a wake up call. Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
Uygur/Olbermann vs MSNBC. So the two will attack MSNBC. Ha! What did MSNBC do to deserve this? Talk about biting the hand that feed you and help you gain prominence on TV. LOL Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
I say call for a special election and vote out the turds who are unwilling to do the people's business. It's too hot and the economy too bad to be playing politics with these ingrates! Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
Unbelievable! This is why we have HLN, FOX, CNN and even MSNBC in hopes that one of them will get it right and just report the news. When commentary is rendered in with the news it should be noted accordingly. What Mr. Roberts was engaging in is self commentary to scare. The job of the media is to report the news and be truthful. At one point many were on Obama's case for not moving swift enough on ending DADT and moving on gay marraige. Now this dangers rhetoric: "You will replace [Obama] with a person who would extinguish you." Had the President not moved on DADT and gay marriage would he too be considered a person who would "extinguish you?"
"In this history of cinema, there are so many heterosexual love stories. It's so hammered, so done. It's just not that interesting to me. It's more interesting to me to play roles and relationships that haven't been portrayed as often."
Gay, Straight, Bi, tri...to thine ownself be true. Stop testing the waters to see what people will say or won't say. Just be you! Don't hide behind acting or movies. Just be. Who cares? Just do it and stop making it out to be more than it is. Enough said. Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
Cowards! Bloody cowards! And then these evil doers will go and hide and seek refuge amongst the innocent so that they can't be seen or prosecuted. If you are so big and bad to commit such an atrocity why hide? If you are so bad and not afraid of dying show yourself so that you can be dealt with justly. Cowards! Bloody cowards! The why the "F" are we constantly looking to the credit agencies for ratings or listening to them if this story is true???? This is exactly the kind of garbage the media should be on top of getting to the bottom of the credit agencies worth. Please come out with major stories on why these agencies are NOT IMPORTANT and how they are and were enablers to previous downfalls in the economy. The agencies seem to be the equivalent of a fox in the hen house. Can't we get any reliable investigative news stories out nowadays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is everyone beholden to the other? That's why we need the FOX News, CNN and MSNBC out there and hope that one of them will report the news and let us decide and not provide commentary with the news. Where is FACEBOOK when you need it!
Many times it's the people at the low end who keep things going, while the big whigs who are stealing from the cupboards remain on. What a pity. To those being let go, just move on "That Job Just Isn't Into You!" Reinvent yourself. Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
It's harsh fact of reality. No matter how loyal you are too an employer when they decide it's over it's over. At least Caddie Steve can say he made $20 million or more during this employment with the Tiger. Some people being laid off today have never made that and never will. Good luck champ! I'm sure your will get speaking engagements and offers to write a book. Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
Why did video make it to HuffPost and then to be removed? Another indication of how our society has slipped...no fell in a pile of dung. Some will laugh and call it free speech and freedom of expression, but one day soon we will rue the day we allowed ourselves to play around with the idea and right of free speech, freedom of expression and all other freedoms. We profess to be a civilized society yet we can't reason with one another and understand what is and what isn't and to that end I say...

Geez! So many haters commenting. How about being grateful that the President is doing something? Nothing ever takes place right away. It's all about timing. You can force a matter and things fall apart or you can be the President and think methodically and do what is best for all and not a few critics. Had there been anyone else in the White House (let's say a John McCain or Sarah Palin) do you actually think the whole gay marriage issue would have gotten this far? Enough of the back seat driving and Monday morning quarterbacks.
